If you’re like me you like to have a nice golden base to your skin before hitting the beach and that means a few tanning sessions at a tanning salon. I like to test different lotions to see which will provide me with a nice natural tan but less time with tanning sessions as they can be expensive.
Full Review of Ed Hardy Coconut Kisses Golden Tanning Lotion
Ed Hardy Coconut Kisses Golden Tanning Lotion was recommended to me by a friend. It has since been one of my favorite tanning lotions.
It contains coconut milk and coconut oil which on their own already makes it a really great hydrating lotion but, it also contains safflower seed oil, cocoa seed butter, banana fruit extract, aloe vera, vitamin E, vitamin C and moisturizing glycerin. Combine all of these great quality ingredients in one lotion and your skin will be bathed in hydration.
The lotion is a little thicker than I thought it would be but still fairly light and it’s absorbed quickly. One other very important quality is that it is not sticky or greasy. Coconut Kisses leaves my skin feeling silky smooth.
You don’t have to worry about this lotion turning your skin orange, it doesn’t contain bronzers. No dye, no orange hue and you don’t have to worry about the palms of your hands turning orange. You won’t get extremely dark as it doesn’t have bronzers, but you get is a nice natural golden tan, not an orange mess.
The one thing I loved right away was the amazing light, crisp scent of coconuts with just a very faint scent of vanilla. I love coconut lotions and this one is one of my favorites. It’s not overpowering at all, just the right amount of scent and it lasts long after tanning. The bottle looks like it’s filled with chocolate. Looks so good and it’s only a bottle.
Coconut Kisses has added benefits that many lotions don’t. If you have tattoos, this is the lotion for you. It actually has a tattoo color fade protector that protects your tattoos and also enhances them.
The other great benefit is “BodyFit,” an ingredient that helps firm your skin and reduces the appearance of cellulite. I can vouch for the reduced appearance of the dimples in my thighs.
One special bonus: This product is also a cruelty-free product; they do not test on animals.
The one thing that is important to remember is that this product does not have any SPF at all so you will burn; it’s intended for tanning bed use. I have on occasion used it outdoors for 15 minutes and then applying a sunscreen.
As for cost, it can be fairly expensive if you purchase it at a salon. Your best bet is to research a little online and you can even find it for almost half the cost on some sites.
I am a huge Ed Hardy Coconut Kisses fan and I highly recommend you give it a try. You’ll have a healthy golden tan.
