BeachTime is by far one of the best tanning lotions on the market for obvious reasons. It’s a high quality, multifaceted tanner that gives remarkable results. Since I’ve started using this lotion, my skin has never looked better and I will soon tell you why. It’s not to say that I have stopped using other tanners, but BeachTime will always be my go-to choice as well as my backup plan when other tanning lotions don’t turn out right because I am always trying new products.

This product used to be called #BeachLife but Ed HArdy changed the name after a copyright case was made against the product by Australian Gold who had a product named Beachin’ life.

If you decide to treat yourself to a bottle of BeachTime and happen to be eyeballing through a bunch of tanning products whether online or at your local convenience store, look for a medium sized, round shaped bottle measuring about 6 inches in height and 4 inches in width. It has an eye-catching design displaying a couple of coconut trees amidst a sunny sky touched with hues of yellow, pink and blue in the backdrop and the name “#BEACHTIME” running vertically down the center of the bottle.

Inside is an aromatic lotion, smelling of everything beachy and tropical. There are scents of coconut and a bit of pineapple. If you ask me, fused together, the combo of both smells great. The lotion is white in color and has a silky feel that goes on smooth, not pasty like some other tanning lotions. Once you start rubbing the solution unto your skin, you will see and feel its effects instantly and that is intensely moistened and hydrated.

When applying, simply start off with just a dollop of lotion in your palm and then rub your hands together before actually spreading it onto your skin. This helps to separate and prep the solution so that it spreads easier and evenly. Apply the lotion with long deep strokes so that it fully penetrates your skin. This is important so that your skin stays moistened and doesn’t dry out during the heat exposure that is involved in the tanning process.

There are no short cuts with this tanning lotion, even though it has dual purposes for indoor and outdoor use, it facilitates both options impeccably. When the sun’s out, I will lay out for about 30 to 40 minutes where I usually arrive at a golden sun-kissed glow. I wouldn’t recommend tanning any longer for a given session as this puts your skin at risk for sun damage and deterioration. My advice would be to try again another day if you want to achieve a deeper darker looking tan. The same goes for using a tanning bed, I try to limit my sessions to about 20 – 30 minutes each time and follow up the next day if I choose to go darker.

While there are no tanning agents in this lotion, BeachTime has tanning intensifiers or in other words tanning enhancers that helps you to achieve darker results in a shorter time had you tried tanning without any product or those lacking these ingredients. What this really means is that it is made with a quad tyrosine blend as well as Melactiva, which is a melanin synthesizer that stimulates and increase melanin formation. These components combined to accelerate the tanning process as well as help users to achieve darker, longer lasting tanning results.

In addition to these key elements, there are some blissful ingredients with terrific skin benefits to look forward to. This tanning lotion doesn’t smell like coconuts for no reason, it is infused with coconut milk and coconut oil, which are esteemed in having very good skin softening and hydrating properties. It utilizes seaweed extract to expel toxins from the body, passion fruit extract to protect against free radical damage and hibiscus extract to increase elasticity, promote firmness as well as tighten and tone your skin. If that’s not enough, you will be happy to know there are tattoo and color fade protection as well, so for those of you who love tanning but need to safeguard your ink, then BeachTime is the tanning lotion you need.

Unfortunately, this tanning lotion does not contain any SPF or sun blocking features to give you the ultimate mind settling protection from UVA and UVB rays. A good suggestion would be to apply this tanner with a broad-spectrum SPF sunscreen, however, please avoid sunscreen oils when using tanning beds as they tend to do more damage to your skin than you would think.

On a better note, this BeachTime tanning lotion is quite resilient to water; once it is fully covering your skin there isn’t much to worry about where that is concerned. Whether you happen to work up a sweat during tanning or decide to take a quick dip in the water, you can rest assure this tanning lotion will still be in place. But don’t go overboard now, after all this isn’t some kind of sorcery potion, it will rub off or weaken in potency with excessive water contact. Plus for the best result, you should try to keep the lotion intact and in the best condition possible, that is generously and evenly lathered unto your skin.

There is no doubt that BeachTime indoor and outdoor tanning lotion is a top-notch product among a crowd of brands. I would recommend it to anyone looking to get results and especially in a short time all while enjoying the tanning experience.

BeachTime applies easily, smells great, makes your skin feel supple and hydrated and stays on for as long as you need to tan and in the end, gives you a sultry looking sun-kissed glow that lasts a pretty long time.

With repeated use, you will begin to procure the benefits of great skin through the effects of its body fit activators and skin fortifying ingredients. I can attest to this, I have been using BeachTime for a couple of months now and I have seen a significant improvement in my skin, simply the way it looks and feels. It gets a definite thumb’s up and a near perfect star rating from me.

  1. I’ve tried several lotions and this is THE ONLY ONE that doesn’t turn me orange. It does seem to take longer to get a tan with it, but when you do it’s a much more natural looking tan no orange whatsoever .

  2. Perfection! Amazing intensifier. I finished my $65 dollar bottle of Jwoww Fit (which I didnt think could get any better) But..Beachtime is amazing. (And paid only $26)
